He was destined to lead God’s church
before he was formed in the belly. However, he tells us that he first became aware of his destiny, one night as he sat
in the church, Tree of Life, the second eldest son among ten children, and heard the deliverance of a prophesy to his father,
who was then the church’s pastor, that one of his children would become a minister. There were other members of the church that are still among us this day that recall this proclamation
as well as the unusual traits he embodied as a young boy. As he heard that prophesy that night, he resolved within himself
that he could make a run for it. Hence, he left home at the age of 12 running from "Praise the Lord" and "Thank
You Jesus," which are common sayings among the saints of God. He had been a witness to the diligence with which
his parents ministered to the flock God gave unto them as well as the many sufferings that came with having to forsake one’s
own things for the sake of others. He knew just as many others that he was a peculiar person for he had already rebuilt
his first engine by the age of 8 while others were more interested in simply mastering basic arithmetic.
